Wat Carpet Do I Need To Put Around My Sub Box?

Anyone got a link to the carpet that i would need to put around my sub box?

Not looking to spend loads on it, just to cover it up in ideally, black.

Also how much carpet am i going to need?

When i did mine i just went to motorworld and got black acoustic carpet, 15 quid for a metre and a half sqauared i think, but the corners will probs be quite tricky on a box mate!

Yeh buddy the W3's are in there! Came in that box when i bought them, He'd scratched the s**t out of the perspex though so don't really think i will be keeping it on!

Trying to find an amp to power them atm and its just gettin annoying,

I just bought some Focals comps to go in the front that i'l be running off my MTX amp, trying to find an amp on ebay now though for these!

You find it hard to put the carpet on?

Acoustic carpet preferably, but any will do the job.

I'd personally get a new box though TBH.

Give John a ring, tell him your subs make and model and he'll give you the recommended box size, tuning and how much it'll be.

I'll be ordering a ported box at 1.75cuft with 33hz tuning from him for £45 delivered soon.

i had 2 w3s the same as yours, they were the dual 2-ohm version and had them running off a jl e1800d, cracking amp, perfect for 2 of these subs, they sounded immense, youll deffo need sound deadening though lol

yer the carpet is easy really just cut to size and use spray glue or super glue, you can get self adhesive carpet which i bought aswell but didnt stick very good

Sure one of my mates carpentry skills will be good enough to do this lol,

the jl 500/1 amp would do the job too but the jl amps are rather pricey depends on your budget really, JBL are good budget amps with lots of power

Looking at spending about a 100 on a second hand amp,

Havnt really got a clue wat im looking for with amps atm though?!

if its an amp just for subs you deffo want a mono bass amp, JBL GTO 1201.1 only 120 brand new on ebay, and there very powerful
