i bought a ktec unsilenced reccesed exhaust a few months ago and i noticed yesterday that there is water coming out of the joint between the cat and new section so the two questions are
why is this happening?
and is there a set of gaskets for the whole system as i also just bought a de cat?
any info appreciated

Condensation in the the exhaust is normal, just stop driving like a girl and you will burn it out ;) Leaking in the joints is not normal though, you need to take it of again and use some exhaust paste and mount it right up there again.

Exaust sealant is a better option, it comes in a tube like and looks like silicone sealant but it's much better than the pidgeon shite some places use.

Yeah you always get water out of the exhaust dont worry. But where its coming from suggests that its blowing, so just wack some exhaust sealant round the join and it'll be fine :)

a nice long spirited drive is best; get the exhaust (engine too) nice 'n hot , car likes that.
Burns all moist.

Mind you engines can even RUST on internal components , because of lots of short drives; not getting everything up to good running temps. No good for any car, short rides
