water leak into cabin

this is a weird one.
i had a water leak from all the rain we had a week or 2 ago. funnily enough the water pissed out of the..... sun roof button!?
yes thats correct lol the sun roof button.
i checked the sunroof, seals are ok and the drainage holes are alright not blocked or anything.... surely it got through there somehow tho?
any ideas would help. its an electric sunroof not a manual one.

sunroofs are notorious for leaks, water can get between the body/roof seal into the cassette and then from there into the car. IIRC it's down to a foam sealant used at manufacture that after 10+ years, breaks down and needs replaced.
