Water Spray storage bottle under bonnet is leaking

Water Spray storage bottle under bonnet is leaking, is this under warranty or will it be classed as wear and tear due to the water rubbing against the plastic case? lol

I think the water frooze which was in it, and whe water freezes it expands and its put a little whole in it, i think. I haven't investigated this yet, but i do have a lot of water under my car at the front end, just under the water storage for the sprays so i'm assuming that's what's happened. Also it has been going down quickly, lately.

You mean the washer jet bottle? If so then I don't see it being warently as is most likly done to you not filling it with windscreen wash so its frozen and cracked.

Alright mate,

Bought a 172 July this year. After 2 months my washer bottle had a leak too. Thought I'd used all fluid but when I went to refill it the fluid was just flowing straight through to the underside of the car and down the road. Genius. God knows how it cracked. A common problem?

They leak quite often on 172s anyway, try your luck at the garage just dont mention that it might have frozen!
