If they offer me a penny less than what i calculated i should be getting for compensation, i shall be sueing them straight away. Already warned him i took on renault and won

Wife's car got written off over 2 months ago. Still no settlement figure or anything!!!
They blame it on waiting for the DVLA on driving licence checks for me and the missus.

We both have clean licences, no points EVER. They've done a verbal check, but won't process anything until theyve got it in writing!

The car was only worth about £1500, but if it had been my 172 I'd be b*ggered. We pitched in to get another car, but I wouldnt have the cash to be able to replace the 172 with anything half as good.

when my cup was damaged the garage told me a very crappy thing cos that too was made a complete hash out of..anyway when they receive a quote from the garage say for 30 labour hours and cost, materials the insurance company spend alot of time trying to get the value down so they say will only pay you 15 hours where you have stated 20 and materials they will want to give you 100 less this is why alot of jobs come back shitty...if you were a private customer of the street a bet the quality on most deals would be alot better than if through insurance companies..you pay all that money for nothing in the end to be honest!!
