West Mids Rolling Road - Saturday 9th of June

My mate with the scooby can't get it off. So there's 2 spaces left to fill.

Phoning tomorrow...as was v.busy bringing Mandy back from Stoke yesterday and trying to help her recouperate. Will call in morning to confirm date.

Just got following from Viezu:-

" Hi Don,Further to our earlier telephone conversation, I re checked the diary and unfortunately we cannot offer this date, due to staff holidays and for rolling road days we do need to be fully staffed.I do still have availability on 9th, 16th or 23rd of June if these dates are suitable with you.Should you need anything else please let me know.

So we have a date in June 16th is day before FCS so a no go...I can try Lohen near Eccleshall Staffordshire if people are up for it...might even be able to get 19th...you never know. Any suggestions??

If its going to lohen i might drop out??? i wanted to go too viezu to compare graphs from lastime:( and see the difference if any on the mods that have been done...

They have mate...but if we're gonna struggle to get a place...then what can I do?

I've spoken to Jason @Lohen with regards to 19th May and mentioned Fred's name to see if we get it cheaper. Once they come back to me I will let you know. :)

Like I said mate...its down to date(s). What about the 9th then as this is being a pain....

I am waiting on other places...and you guys to tell me what you want me to do...I'm putting an alternative into the hat so that we can do 19th as people have paid deposits and I don't want to hold onto them and then do refunds as the date is completely against what people would prefer.

Confirm dates then please if its 9th or 23rd at Viezu...but have to be quick...

Lohen is fine by me and closer but as i said i need to know dates as kate wants to come. Planning in advance didnt really work lol

TDF is bit of trek and someone else is organising a rr there, so dont wanna step on toes. :)

There is a place in polesworth who are A series mini specialists, apparently the RR is quite accurate. Ive been there before and they are a friendly bunch.

If this is of use i've just called them and they have the 19th and the 26th available and will do it at £25 for each car (3 runs) and will put on bacon sandwiches etc.

I'm not attending this but thought it maybe of interest to you guys.

This is a nightmare.

I'm happy with the 9th June or 23rd to be honest.

Just a pain cus my mate who's coming passenger with me has to keep booking dates off. We going to decide and sort today????

Any date at either place should be fine with me but the only issue is I need to know asap to sort work and other things. If it takes a while for everyone to decide what they want I may struggle so hurry up people and let Don know :)

I would prefer the dates in June also. Either one is fine for me.

The later the better as it gives me chance to save some money. (not that it's expensive but I got holiday etc to save for)

Either date is still fine for me as long as its at viezu , was really good last time, good set up best one I've been too

Actually 9th June if we're doing Viezu would be best for me, may have moved out of Midlands by mid June and while I can come back I'll be really busy etc
