hello im looking at geting 172 2001-2003 ff or cup as soon as i sell my corsa is ther any thing i should look out 4 apart from belts and service as i need it 2 be reliable i was thinking the cup will have less thnings 2 fix any hellp would be grate as iv never been in one or driven one thanks

Depends what you want from the car! if ya want luxuries then go for a FF!

cup is basically the no frills version, no aircon, no cruise control and no ABS where as these come on the ff!

I would personally go for the cup! Hence why i have one, better suspension set up! Lot less to go wrong and faster.

As has been said probably a million and 1 times... the difference in speed in real life driving will not really be as noticable.

Personally; I'd go for the FF, more toys for your ££.

and more to go wrong! spose its all down to what ya want out of a car! i did drive a FF but didnt like the feel of the car!

get as late a car as you can...i would go for a FF 172 if you can.

OK thanks but its the things like exhaust falling off and bonnets flying up gear box /top mounts/and engine mounts/ecu playing up.thing like this i need 2 know about.what they sound like when they are about 2 go.a buyers guide is what im after is ther one in any mags if so witch one
