They arent plugged into anything - are they supposed to be? Maybe its the plug for an ejector seat....?

hmm, a mk.1 172 ashtray: probably something to do with diagnostics? maybe the renault technicians plug their dongles into them ?

They plug into the back of the standard head unit - the blue one is for the CD changer, not sure what the yellow one os for - fingertip control maybe?
