What can i do under the hood of a shitty 1.2 lol

just after cheap things to do under hood of a clio mk 2 1.2,

found a Pipercross venom, is it worth £160

any other things i can replace ie spark plugs, hoses etc,

im not rite clued up on this modification stuff

TBH mate i wouldn't bother with a viper on a 1.2.

They don't make much of a difference on a 172 so really won't affect a 1.2!

You're better off getting a cheaper induction kit if you just want the roar. Spark plugs won't make much of a difference, unless the ones you have are old. New ones will rev higher and seem quicker for a while.

The best bang for buck is an RS Tuner. They got fairly good figures out of a 1.2 with on of their remaps.

yeah other than that mate all you can do is tart it up to look nice. air filter, silicon hoses, colour coding and that sort of thing.

Bugger, Ive just come back on here top recommend colour coding and maybe some carbon fuse and battery covers etc and you've beat me to it!

thanks guys, its an 8v im planning on getting a new car next year and use this one for work n to run in to ground so i can do anything really, was thinking induction full stainless, ive done some colourcoding inside

what filter would u recommend, cold air feed needed? i wanted the viper for looks to be honest not performance, but is it worth tht much?

fit a 2.0l lump not to expensive

Stick an open pipercross filter on there for a bit of grunt above 3k.

Then close the bonnet and spend on exterior mods (tastefull).

Or be clever and put away for a new car or insurance.

gettin a new car next year anyway, 182 or a c2 vts i think, depending on insurance, gonna keep this car as a run about n a little project

agin though like said, dont expect to see any real gains from this. they would be more cosmetic than anything.
if i were you and were getting a new car next year, i would just leave this one alone and save the money for the next one but if you didnt plan on getting a new car anytime soon then i would get the stuff to saticfy your needs lol.
