what coilovers

been saving up for a while and now about to throw yet another big lump of money at the car to get it the way i want it.

along with 4x eagle F1's, powerflex suspension and anti roll bar bushes and a catback stealth system with a sports cat im looking for some coilovers.

i dont want to spend over £500-£600 on the coilovers but will if its worth it. im more interested in handling than ride height but i would like to be able to go at least -70mm.

ive only really looked at FK's but what else is out there

I have Fk Konigsports. Love em on my Mk1. Cheap (for coilovers) too.

ive noticed theres 2 different versions of the FK's, konigsports and something else cant remember whats the difference.

Highsport is non adjustable but on my 1.2 they were perfect really. Better ride than the OEM stuff (except motorway). Konigsport is adjustable, and better quality, but more expensive.

Isn't it the only option though? Spax RSX maybe but don't think anyone on here has tried them...

Otherwise custom Ledas. That lad with a 1.4 got some through GDI i believe.

Had spax RSx on a Nova! Were really good, Fks are better made, have Koni inserts etc

I had the RSX they were good a bit hard but the biggest issue is the rear dampers failed all the time I went thought 4 sets in 6 month or so in the end they said they'd fixed it but I'd sold it on and bougth another car but the new owner says there rattling again and the dampers aren't being replaced under warently.

think the Konigsports are what i want then, as i fancy bein able to adjust the damping because i like the ride pretty solid dont really care about ride quality lol#

ive noticed on a lot of coilover kits only the fronts are ride height adjustable is this the same with the konigsports?

The FK's are adjustable all-round

I have Cobra Evo-1 coilovers on my dci - great job :approve:
