What engines will fit a mark 1 1.2 Clio

I have a 1996 1.2 Clio, what Renault engines (and from what cars they are) will fit into it??

F7p out of a 16v, about as easy as you'll get.

f7r or f7p 1800 16v or 2.0l 16v from williams. 5 ggt lump will fit as well.

Ive got a 1.8 16v F7P From a Clio Cup race car---£400
These were 150bhp from Renaultsport. Only done about 500 miles sincs its was rebuilt 2 years ago.
Also got looms/ecu's/rads/most other parts you'd need for a conversion.

The work is alot. I can tell you that

go for an F7p. cheap as chips

£700 would get you a F7P engine 1.8 16v
Brought and fitted I'd say.

C1J r5gtt lump will go in with a bit of work...this was mine although it was a 1.8 16v
