What exhaust to go for?

  Titanium Clio 182
Alright guys (and girls) I'm wanting to change the cat back system on the car, but I'm pretty unsure on what to go for. Something deep and not to raspy is what I'm looking for. And also that doesnt put your head away on motorways? Recommendations please :).

Cheers
Darren

you just described a Milltek system.

See the milltek mate, does it sound well over 5k? :). Hmm are yozza not raspy as hell? would you recommend a milltek? Just don't want it sounding like some kinda chavy 1.0 corsa with an overly large backbox from argos haha

I went for the yozza, they may be hard to get hold of at the moment though.

I've heard good and bad things about Milltek. Have a search on here for what people say.....

I like my Miltek, sounds good, not too loud on the motorway either. It did however after 4/5 months develop two blows on the same weld, one above and one below where it splits to each silencer.

It was however promptley replaced by Miltek after sending them a photo of the blow and also the ID plate on the exhaust. I have my old one to repair/scrap/sell still too.

There are some videos/sound clips on the Miltek website.

oh! A decatted yozza will be loud!

Just a heads up :)

Ive just got a yozza decat for my yozza system and its not bad if you drive steady!as soon as you put your foot down though its a whole different exhaust, very happy with my yozza and never had any problems...

I got a piper sytem but at the minute its a bit to quiet for me so i might try the cat mod or decat

Nice deeper sound driving normal just enough to know its not a standard system then is louder when you put foot down but for me its just not loud enough

Just taken my Yozza off after 8 months of use and i have to say the build quality is second to none, it still looks like new after a quick wash, as for the sound of any individual exhaust it's down to taste, i liked the yozza as it had a very race car like sound to it and high rpm gear changes were just heaven to listen to but i also have a zorstec exhaust too and for me the zorstec just has the edge on sound(even though the fabricator couldn't fabricate to save his life), that's no detriment to the Yozza though as the build quality wins hands down for the yozza system but i like the deeper more boomy sound of the zorstec a little more as opposed to the slightly higher rasp of the Yozza but that is purely personal choice and i wouldn't say the zorstec was better just a different sound, there isn't much in it though and i certainly wouldn't say the Yozza's are full on raspy, one word of warning though, if you have them decatted it will be very loud, i was behind someone off here all the way back from scarborough last year and i heard it all the way back over my sound of my stereo, God only knows what it was like in the car!

The Yozza also wins hands down on packaging, only someone with pride in what they make would go to that much effort of packaging it :)

P.S
The only reason the Yozza came off is because i'm selling the clio otherwise i would have kept the Yozza on for sure due to it's superior build quality.

I've just bought a 2nd hand yozza, and I was shocked at how well built they are aswell, every weld is perfect not like some other exhausts I've seen,

Can't wait to bolt it up to my decat pipe andgo for a drive,

Im on a piper too, think they are also know as GDI or somthing? Great system really well made motorways arent an issue not much louder than standard when your in the car tbh. Also sounds great when you take it up through the revs.
