What gearboxes fit a ph172

Just had the bad news that my gearbox is shot in my car I was just wondering what gearboxes fit my car and ware is best to pick one up ?

A ph what? Ph1 and cup both need speedo sensors, ph2 and 182 don't. Ph1 has the longest gearing out of all of them.

Well you won't need one with a speedo drive so the world is your oyster really, ph2 and 182 are a direct replacement though

I know the gearbox is a jc5. Think you need more specific info than that though.

From memory is a jc5-089 box you'll be after but it would be worth a search to confirm that, it's been a while.
