What gives 172's their spacing on the front wheels?

  www.renparts.co.uk
just wondering now i have the 172 wings fitted on my mk2 ph2 what gives the 172 its spacing to make it look right. I don't really want to run spacers and especially for the track. If i fitted 172 front hub carriers would this solve it? and would it work? or is it the wishbone?
thanks

wishbones, hubs, driveshafts etc

spacers are cheaper (use proper hubcentric ones)

will running 25mm hubcentric ones be ok then?
where can i get them from cheapest?
thanks

im looking to keep the standard RS wheels. Plus i want to run steelies for track days.
Don't run steelies for track days you'll weld them to the hub as Yozzas proved only use alloys.

its a 1.4... its very unlikely mate... ive been at donnington this weekend.. i mechanic for my mate who runs stock hatch... steelies.... that thing has more power than my car and ill be taking it much steadier than him, and we have never had a problem.
