what have I done?

Ok, today I fitted a 172 steering wheel to my 1.2 dynamique... All went well and looks great, but.. Went out for a drive and now when I indicate right or left and turn the indicator stalk does not automatically flick off.

Its really annoying as I have to manually flick it off.. can anyone tell me what I have done for this to happen? And how can I fix it?
