What have you done to your car today ???

Nice Golf R Addicted

Seems to be most ex-RenaultSport owners go VAG after... must be the step up in build quality ;)

What foam are you using there? Ive got a Karcher but it doesnt come out anywhere near that thick

Cheers :)

Mine was mainly due to the prices at the time - I was looking at Fiesta ST's but wanted something with a bit more poke!

This is autobrite foam with their own lance too :) bought a big 5L bottle a few years back and still no where near empty!

Cleaned the seatbelts. Definitely worth it as you don't really realise how dirty they are until they are cleaned up!

What do you clean them with ?

Sorry bit of a late reply, but I fully extended the belts and trapped them in the closed door. They were soaked in a bucket of fairy liquid and agitated with a standard detailing brush.

Tbh, the main improvement comes by blasting them with the pressure washer up close (be prepared to get soaked though).

Finally pinned my mate down to build my custom exhaust for the cup. It sounds nice and quiet on idle and throaty when you hit the loud pedal. I no longer sound like a chav :)

I hope you didn't pay retail for those plugs. Aren't they like £70 from the dealer? I paid £35 from local place. Same plugs without Renault box

Snap, and funny enough, my old ones where also Bosch. Hoping it will run better as I hear these motors are a little fussy on spark plugs. Have yet to start her up after a cambelt change... eekk! [emoji26]

run a lot better for me, smoother idle and it feels a lot smoother through the revs. I wouldn't use any other plugs.

Been putting off doing this job since I got the car in March. Spent a good 4 hours restoring my headlights with the 3m headlight kit. Got to say the results are really impressive. Not sure whether the lights would of been an MOT failure, the indicator top section was in a shocking state. Haven't got any photos to show yet i'll put them up later.

Spent all day cleaning it, inside and out. Went over to my brother's to use his machine polisher, was very good! Car was looking nice (still need to sort the front bumper out and get some funds up to get the wheels powder coated orange as I love the orangeness of them!) And then this happens on the drive back to mine:

Tyres were new back in May. Damaged some of the paint work on the wheel, and now a garage is going to damage it even more by running their tools over it. Great. But again, even more of an excuse to get them sand blasted and powder coated!!

Nothing to mine but yesterday spent 13 hours working on my friends Saxo, clutch change, driveshafts and wheel bearings. They've been noisy for months. I've literally never seen bearings welded into place quite like it. FUCKED!

  BG 182
Just bought a few bits from members on here. Both front cup shocks for the 182, pair of front calipers, buying some more cup springs as one of mine has cracked.
Next week order some brembo HC discs and pads.
Then get it serviced, MOT'd and taxed.
Then get it detailed, alloys refurbed and new rubber all round.
Then enjoy.
