originally (back in the day) the GrpN ecu was a replacement ecu unit, not just a flash of the OE ecu, only available from R-sport, it was launched around the same time as the 172cup came out
BUT production i belive ceased, and these became hard to come by
now everyone has jumped upon the bandwagon and has used the GrpN name very loosly on their own product, there is only one true GrpN!
i've got a gtt and have to hear people talk about the mods they did when they owned one.. group A carb, group n clutch, group dd dump valve.. load of old ball locks.. my fav was group N engine mounts that were....................diesel engine mounts:S
what cracks me up about the group A carbs is they mail order them to people... theres no talk about boost etc, just take the money £150, slap a bigger jet in or drill the fooker and off it goes.. guy fits it, runs like sh1t, car breaks.. :clown:
just checked the price of the engine mounts from a certain tuner and there only called heavy duty.. cost £85 from them and £30 from my local auto factors:lolup:
