what is the difference between these 3 knocking noise?

Hi,

What is the difference between the following knocking??? I mean when do they happen?

1) knocking from dogbone bushes
2) knocking from engine mount under battery
3) knocking from strut top

I think many people is having the knocking problem. Mine is not solved and it is getting more serious. Only on right driver side! All bushes was checked and they are fine. It used to happen right after I de-accelerate at fast speed. But now, it happens especially,

1) After the car had warm up.
2) When I brake, no matter fast or slow.

I really want to get it solve. I had changed the washer to the one peopel mentioned, but the inner diameter is 1mm difference. Maybe I should have a more accurate one and trry again. But I always doubt if a washer can solve the problem :-(

Your suggestion would be welcome, and I am also thinking if it relate to brake caliper unit!!!

Well, forgot to tell, the knocking started to happen after my new aux belt and cambelt was fitted.

See attached pic of what the garage had removed (only part of the top engine mount) and the original washer I had removed and changed.

Knocking is very annoying and one more thing, it will get much more serious when my Clio 172 are full loaded.

when the aux+cambelt is done the engine mount (right hand side) is undone to gain access.... if you've had problems since its come off then it sounds like its not adjusted properly.

have a nose at this..... (look near the bottom for flaming monkey's post)

Thanks, let me check first. But I think the garage guy had just removed the cover that is on the cambelt.
