Hi, my air con and blowers stopped working a couple of days ago and it seems that most people think that the PWM Controller Pack Rheostat ( 7701051272 ) has packed up.
However, I've had my head in the engine bay and I can hear an odd whining sound coming from the silver and black part to the right of the engine cover but the left of the yellow hose. This is not my engine but somebody else's pic I have "borrowed" to highlight where the noise is coming from.
Anybody know what the part is or had a similar issue. The noise happens when I turn the ignition to on.
