What oil for 2001+ 1.2 16v Clio

What oil should I be using for a new shape clio 1.2 16v to top up? Is elf best make for Renaults as they use this dont they?

I run 0w40 Mobil1 in mine, it works!! Oil is oil!!!

Mobil 1 0W-40 as Fred is using would be a very good choice

as would Silkolene Pro R 5W-40 / Total Quartz 9000 5W-40 / Shell Ultra 5W-40 / Carlube Triple R 5W-40.........

go for a fully synthetic oil......

you need to shave off as many pounds as you can if you want to have a quicker 1.2 16v than me (officially the quickest 1.2 16v)

oil is oil in essence, wont really matter what you use.

But some oil is better than others, but they all have grades to meet, so you cant really buy a crap oil.
