What oil for my 172

got my 36k soon, what oil should i buy?

Thats the one you know it makes sense eh................and Debz is really decent stick aswell

How much oil do they put in the car ? (sorry if this is a silly question just i dont know too much about this stuff!!)

I find extra virgin does the trick.

So me only needs 1 then yeah ? i dont really have a spare £64

Josh................if you put it into Reno for the 36k service they will charge you between £40/£50 + vat for the oil and that does not including the filter

So after the 4 or so oil chamges supplying your own oil would save you £150 to £180..................a FREE service eh

Not that I know of Josh............peeps have a nightmare trying to track it down.

You could always try calling Debz and asking if she could let you buy a smaller amount ..........it costs nothing to ask eh

PPS Oh yeah Josh I nearly forgot I had Reno change the oil this week and it cost £25.53 including the filter but I supplied the oil.........at that price it beats pi55ing about under the car yourself eh.

If you can collect it then just as long as it takes you to get over there

If they have to send it out then a few days no more...........but tell her you need it for the 10th though just to be on the safe side if there is a problem she will say so
