What oil?

Hey all,

I'm servicing my 182 this weekend - doing the points, filters and oil, but the question is, which oil should I use. I'm thinking of using 5w40 fully synthetic stuff (yes, I know there isn't such a thing as "fully synthetic", but hey), and I was wondering, any difference between manufacturers? Its out of warranty, so I'm not too worried about using Elf stuff, but what's everyone's idea of "best" oil? (i've a feeling I might be opening a can of worms here...)

There are a lot of 'what oil shall I use' threads on here, some only posted up a day or so ago, well worth looking at those.

I use elf excellium, 5w/40 (as per the book)
