what other g/box for 172

Sorry if this has been discused before but a search came up with nothing,

what other gearbox will fit the 172 .. ie im wanting quick accelaration, so i was thinking getting a new box from a smaller engined car.. thanks michelle..

Your going to have to modify the engine to go faster, there is nothing you can do with the gearbox I'm afraid.

Or you can try Renault Megane 2.0 16V JC5-106 gearbox since It's shorter than RS172 and fits perfectly.
