What paint to use on a strut brace?

As above, if i were to paint a red omp brace do I need to use heat resistant paint??

I have taken the sound proofing off of the underside of the bonnet so no need to worry about fluff!! lol

They are the same type of plastic plugs that hold the wheel arch lining on, just give em a pull and out they come!!

No. Any paint is fine. Ensure a Higher temp laquer is used tho!!

any paint will do and normal lacquer is ok , it doesnt get hot enough to damage the lacquer

Yep I'd agree

A friend of mine painted his rocker cover with normal paint, didnt flake off or discolour and I can imagine that getting a fair bit hotter!

My rocker cover is painted with normal paint and lacquer and it looks fine. I wouldn't bother with heat resistant.
