What paint to use on a strut brace?

As above, if i were to paint a red omp brace do I need to use heat resistant paint??

I have taken the sound proofing off of the underside of the bonnet so no need to worry about fluff!! lol

Should be alright with standard stuff mate. Ive also had hammerite on mine and was spot on

I assume its just a simple sand down, prime and paint job??

aye, I imagine that its original paintwork was powdercoat, might be a pain sanding that back. Some nitromorus might help you along

Or powdercoat the brace maybe?
