What products to buy?

Just bought myself a lovely BMW

Kind of starting from scratch again as most of my stuff has been given away or lost, so ideally I'm after some products to let me do the following:

Wash (obviously) Clay it, IronX??, clean the wheels, hand polish, hand wax/seal.

Want to give it a good going over while there's still a possibility of some half decent weather. Will also need everything like mitt, drying towel etc.

The car is silver if it matters?!

All input/advice would be spot on. I do know how to use all the products, just not sure what's best!

Id have a scoot round the detailing section here also as they give great advice on any question you have.

Right, had a good search around and was thinking of buying the following:

I have plenty of microfibres, some SRP and some decent poor boys wax, was hoping this lot would cover the rest?

Was planning on washing, ironX'ing, claying, SRP'ing, waxing, job done?
Wheels I'm not too fussed about as they could do with a refurb anyways, or will be getting new ones.

Thoughts/Opinions/Advice?!

Although actually I still have some clay at home, does it go off?! It's still sealed in the pack but has been kept under the carport for a year or so.

On light coloured cars a tar remover is essential, use it before you clay

So process should be:

Wash
IronX
Tar Remover
Clay
Polish
Wax

??

Partybish - not too worried about the wheels as said, will be refurbing/buying new anyways.

Wash > Tar remover > Iron X > Clay > Wash > Dry > Polish > LSP(Sealant/Wax)

Dont forget the wheels

Ordering from CYC I would go for AF Oblitarate.

Then a nice QD to use after general washing to return the just waxed look when you don't need to wax, Z6, finale etc

How fussy is it regarding a base to sit on? I no they released SN Prime but is it really needed. I thought it may be a little like tough coat, more so when I found out that the dodo was opposite AF old unit in Essex
