what the fluck?

on the way to work this morning just normal day set off down the street and onto the bypass (60 limit)

obviously not anywhere near warmed up but....gets upto about 50/60 in 5th and it starts to just loose power nothing happening when revving so...into4th spot on then starts happening....into 3rd spot on then same again...hazards on and into 2nd......then it was ok drove away from this and anouth 15 miles or so to work without a spot of bother? anyone explain this?.....ive got a gaping hole in the exhaust as new exhaust isnt getting fitted till 2nite? could this be the culprit?

its canny hamered mate it started as a little hole in the centre section near a weld which i couldnt even tell now it sounds horrible....u think it could just be this?

Mine snapped at the rear section, completely and you couldn't touch the throttle without it making a noise that would wake the dead. Plus it struggled to go above 60ish. Dreadfull.

haha the exhausts must be s**t all ive heard is bad things i was shitting myself it felt like the engine was gona blow lol! it was spot on after tho it just puzzled me

it must be a fair size though do you think anyone would buy the complete cat back? duno wether its worth chucking it on ebay as if i ever sell the car il just leave the stealth on!

yoo hoo anyone think what this is im sick it happened this morning again after fitting the new exhaust last night?? im not paying 35 quid for diagnostic in a hurry lol

It could be something to do with the lambada sensor, but i could be very very wrong. A friend had similar issues on his focus and this was the culprit!

I was going to say, if its what ive said above, hole in exhaust has caused you to blow a lambda sensor (one of the two that plugs into the cat). Sounds likely.

i thought this peperami m8 its suspect how it happens at same time same place but only once! the idle of the cars cap aswel but thats been like that since i got it? its only got the one on a ph1 hasnt it?

Some have one, some have two. Depends which cat you have! I found that with a decat you'll blow lambdas a lot also.

At least theyre not too pricey.
