what the going rate for a used 172

i am going to get a clio 172 and i am undecided whether to get a brand new import for motorpoint for £11699 or go for a 1 to 2 yr old used clio 172 , what you opinions on whats the best option & also whats the going rate for a used 172 from a dealer or private

There are advantages doing it both ways.

You get a nice new car with full warranty, but you have to put it into the dealer when all the standard faults come up... with a used they have probably been fixed, then you got to run it in properly, a used one will be run in already, but your not getting a brand new car are you ? someone else has already owned it. Although it wont devalueate as much as if you bought it new.

dont assume all new cars go back to dealer, I just reached 3000 miles from new and have not been to dealer once, a gentle run in and dont drive like a loon and most cars should be fine!!!
