well im 18 and currently have a mk2 phase 1 1.2 grande and ever since iv owned it. It has been the biggest bag of nails only owned it 8 months and been back to garge bout 5-6 times for all sorts gear box mount driveshaft etc. And now its sitting on the drive feeling sorry for its self as yet again its broke so do ya think i should save and get a new engine for her sell, and mayb by another clio would love a valver but at 18 insurance would be a bit high our sould i just get hole other car eg ibiza saxo etc what do ya think guys as possible the cams have gone now on it feel free to say which cars you had at my age

i had a clio 1.2 dynamique still have it now started with a mk 1.2rn though but i love my clio and i dont want to trade it for anything so just buy something you like and can afford

clios are decent cars.. sounds like you have been unlucky... the car you have is known as pretty bombproof, youve been unlucky...

i thinking bout selling her and getting a valver as had insurance quote at £1,800 which aint bad for the power as im paying around 1,500 for my 1.2 what is the power of a valver etc please
