What to do...

  Renault 21 Quadra
My dad has bought a 172 cup for his missus and wants to pep it up a bit so we can use it for the odd trackday (and keep up with my quadra!)

The question is what is the best combo of ecu-filter/induction-exhaust?

I'v seenMorego do a decent deal (MOrego 202) But I've heard that the ITG Maxogen is the best induction kit to get and maybe something like the K-TEC stealth exhaust with decat?

He's not too bothered about going down the full engine mod route because he also has an M5 to play with for big power fun but loves the clio's handling and wants just a little more oomph and crisper sound.

Any how any input much appreciated!

Cheers - Pete

Get the intake manifold reworked then talk to Chipwizards or Pmury on here (both have good reputations Pmurry is cheaper though). Then get a decat for it.

I'm not convinced the 202 kit will make 202 at all.

Brakes and suspension though are the first things to be sorted depends hwo you like stock stuff.

it all depends on money , inlet matching is a worth while mod on the 172 , defo recommend an upgraded brake set up and more weight loss .

  Clio 172 mk2
Brakes, suspension setup & tyres will make it quicker on track than an extra 5/10bhp from the inlet match.
