I wouldn't expect any where near that much torque. I'd say if the works all done right then a bit over 200hp the biggest issue will be you'll be pushing the injectors to 100% as there onyl rated officialy to 208hp.

why dont u put a lsd, 4pot brakes,strut brace front and rear, blitstin suspension u will b able to corner alot faster get off the line quicker slow down quicker.faster car without touching the engine

I'm having my engine rebuilt so the head work is costing next to nothing so might as well get it done.
Of course Decat makes a difference (have you even cut one open?!), and seeing as I got one for £60 was well worth it!
Yes I know TB's or Turbo get more torque, but I want to keep my engine as standard and reliable as possible which I think the listed mods give a good compromise of.
Just rememeber the smoother and free-flowing the engine is the less torquey it will be as a result.

Sounds a little vague that does!
I mean, if the parts were all seized up and not flowing properly you'd be losing power? You want the engine to not be overcoming it's own issues!
I know what you're saying, a light quick reving engine isn't producing as much torque (think motor bike / F1) but ported / polished isn't going to reduce torque because the gas flows better!

tbh the quickest car I've come up against that hasn't been quicker is Chris n nic's 172 Cup, that was a close do, was only higher speeds that I pulled away. I've picked up 25bhp @ the wheels since though lol

Chris' car runs 14.1's before it was stripped, it's always been a quickun. I had a sensor fault too, which lost me 25bhp @ the wheels which didn't help either lol
I'd be up for that. To me it really is a foregone conclusion. 151mph on GPS going up hill with a passenger and revs to go...
Will have to be quick though, my car's got it bags packed to goto GDI for cambelt and some other "s**t"
