What would you do?

My brothers looking to get his first car and went to see this today:

Was a very clean car inside and out, started up first time and idled quietly. Was all going well until I realised that it hadn't had a stamped service for 26,000 miles! Im no mechanic but i had a look in the oil filler cap and there was no "mayonnaise" on the inside of the cap.

Also the belts haven't been done. Im just wanting some opinions of what people think/would do. Im thinking about offering him £3500 and taking it straight to get serviced and belts done.

personally I think servicing is important. If it hasnt been serviced correctly I wouldnt touch it.

He might have been servicing it himself. Ask.

Its a trader sorry he didnt know, I did ask! That was my initial thought aswell, especially when it sounded so much healthier than the first one we went to see!
