Im under no illision that my car is nothing more than a very compitant hot hatch, why do i choose not to stick tack all over it ? simply because i have taste. The mods i have made (so far buckets, harnesses, coilovers, steering wheel, lighter wheels) have all been in the persuit of making it a better drive. Any future mods will be for the same reason. i dont mod my car purely to draw attention to myself or get respect from townies and 14 year old car sluts and the local maccys drive through.
^^ppl buy clios cus they lie them so its bound to be on a clio forum ppl get praised for small changes that enhance their opinion of a nice looking car
posting a jap car with huge bumpers on a clio site is obviously not what ppl like on here and when the topic asks for opinions but doesnt state positive or negative ppl will air exactly how they feel

Thats not the case at all mate, there are some nice cars with body mods on here but they have been done to suit the car in question....Pattys is nice and Blackclios is nice as an example....Jap bumpers and silly spoiler arnt, shabby bodywork jobs arnt!!!
Your not gonna get people say they like cars just because its different cause sometimes different is f**kin pointless....If its shabby then why would anyone say they liked it??

Highly modified(bodywork wise) are associated with those type of people because its normally them and kids that aspire to that look.
Dont recall at any point anyone saying a clio is a race car. However they do have a cup car championship and guess what.....none of them run bodykits
So do you modify to look individual ?? Let me guess an off the shelf kit that can be seen on cars at various retail parks the length and breadth of the country on any friday/saturday night for the local cruise.

Youl find most including myself dont like outof place body mods so if you cant take people sayin they aint keen i wouldnt bother posting!!!
Some people didnt like how much my car was lowered, some didnt like my wheels when i posted but i didnt throw a strop its all down to ones taste!!!

Ill take the sh*t my self as i have project progress but u lot have made a member leave, hope ur all proud 1 lesson person without a 172 182 valver or v6 rid of vo!!!

Do you know why i dont care? because its my car my choice and i dont have a tantrum and cry myself to sleep or start insulting everyone when they say they dont like it.
Some people are cry babies its a fact. No-one said anything personally insulting about anyone. They were asked for opinons on the car and opinions were given. The way i see it is if you are the kind of person who doesnt like being criticized then dont deliberately put yourself in a position where you might be.

if you like the car then go with it - provide us with your view on things but dont try and change others
what difference does it make what other people think of it anyway? as long as the owner likes it then i dont see the problem

It doesnt f**kin matter, its your car so you decide, wel decide when you post pics up, if its good wel like it if its not wel say we dont.....Simple as that really!!!

Maybe even sooner................I used to love the fast car/max scene from about 14, soon changed my mind when my friends of a year or 2 older started gettin Rss and Valvers etc!!!
I knew that was the way forward, have you got any friends who are performance heads or are they all on the 1.2s and 1.4s still?

Dont be daft, i ran a rolling road day and we had 3/4 1.2s go on. The rest were valvers willys 172/182s and one v6 and dyou know what? not one of the guys in the 1.2s had the piss taken or were made to feel unwelcome. Were all here because we like cars and id never take the piss due to the age/value or engine size of the car someone owns. I will however be honest about what i think of any mods made when asked.
Never had the p1ss taken out of me when I was on the track at fcs in my 1.2 and being the slowest car there. Not to my face anyway
