Best thing to do is crack open that black box, pull out all the cables (using a sharp jerking motion), blow on them then its really simple to put the cables back in, job done.
Should help you diagnose any faults with the battery.
Oh dear me. I thought i asked daft questions. As said, one cable goes down to the starter motor , the other to the fuse box , the negative to the chassis
No the normal sized battery hooks under those bits on the bottom mount you can see just under the earth cable - then on the right side there's meant to be a clamp holding it in place
