As Fred says, on the drivers side is the carbon canister, the passenger side has the acoustic valve in roughly the same place.

Something to do with bullshit EU regs, I think it cleans the fuel vapours or something like that. You don't need it, I was going to have a go at removing mine today but I've bottled it!

wiring, nothing, 2 tubes, connect together

I blocked my two tubes off with a bolt and tape Job done

Not with acoustic removal mate no. Might be the canister

Well me a Burp plugged in his RACvan laptop to read the fault codes. It returned a code each for the acoustic valve and the carbon canister, probably because they are no longer plugged in!

Just wondered if anyone else had this light on after removing the CC.

As Fred says Join the Carbon canister tubes together. The acoustic valve thing I don't know about yet.

i have got the engine managment light on after removing the carbon canister

funny cos i took mine out my old 182 and had no problem with the light coming on.
