What's this lump (Clio 172 Cup n/s rear of engine bay) and does it matter that it's bracket is broken?

(picture borrowed from marcushookdale excellent guide to fitting coliovers .. bracket in mine is in identical state .. and only found mine after I noticed it was broken in this pic and decided to check!? )

ECU bracket it looks like? I think i read recently somewhere that these are snapped on 90% of clios.

ECU bracket. Very common to break, doesn't matter no, but may rattle.
