Wheel alignment North Wales

I need to get some camber and toe set up but so far everyone except Demon Tweeks refuses to set anything outside OE spec and they're a bit far away to use regularly.

Any recommendations for a place near LL18?

Rhino tyres are supposed to be good in Boddelwydan. Pretty sure they do everything there.

Same issue, they don't have their specialist anymore and now just operate the hunter machine and do what the computer says.

Good shout though, they're great guys, in walking distance as well

Ah ok. I've not been there for a while but I remember they used to do them.
Can't think of anywhere else unfortunately.

Thanks guys, hopefully won't need tracking again anytime soon but if I find anyone closer by that works I'll update here.

Taken me since 0900 this morning to get some camber bolts turned the right way 🙄 it better be worth it!

Are they reasonable prices?

Yeah very. Won't charge you a fixed daft amount. He charges per adjustment - so if your car can't adjust toe, camber, etc. Charges £40 for initial and then £X per adjustment. Think mine was about £80 in the end - you can adjust everything on these MX5, but he determined that camber didn't need changing or caster so inly charged me for toe adjustments.

Demon tweeks are shocking these days , i wasnt happy lastime i took my car there. Was meant to go in morning they phoned saying can i bring in at 1 , then was waiting hours and they didnt have time to do a full set up so basically left the as i set it 🤔

Well I've got a track day on Monday and needed to get the tracking sorted today after new track rods/end and camber bolts.

To be fair, Demon Tweeks booked me in within two hours and the guy doing the tracking seemed thorough and knew what he was doing.

£62 for just camber though, thought that was quite steep, but all sorted and it drives like a different car now.

Don't look at the NSR toe, that's a 10' shim fitted the wrong way, sorted that when I got home, should be around 0°9' now.

Ah that's worth investigating, I'll see if I can find anyone there.

@Crazylegs that's fairly close to you, any idea who might be able to do a wheel alignment for a track car in that area?

@HAP didn't take my eyes off the car when it was in!
