you must make sure you clean all the rust off - any surface rust - i went on a 120 mile round trip at the weekend - one box still looks better than new - the other has started to bubble a bit! doenst flake or chip - just the rust i think from inside forcing its way through to the outside! Its good stuff though! i will be getting another can - so i can just rub it down and flash it in again! to keep it looking like new! :approve:

yes 650 is the temp hottest you can get!

what happens if it bubbles? light sandpaper and start again??

how did you remove all the rust chap? my exhaust isn't that old so there isn't much rust

yeah light sandpaper and start again LOL - doenst take that long and keep it looking pretty good - my right box is perfect but my left box for some reason likes to bubble when it gets pretty hot!! mostly ok on half hour short journeys!!!

ive had a few different ideas! drill attachment and wet and dry etc! it hasnt bubbled through terribly but im a little anal and prefer it to look as good as i can get it! its not like it cost a lot really! i know its not solving anything as they rot form the inside out but it looks a lot better for the time its on before i get a S/S one :)

how did you get underneath though? do you have access to a ramp or did you just use a trolly jack and crawl under lol

Arches and inside of alloys are two jobs I hate doing.

Not gone so far as to clean the underside of my car yet but I wish you hadn't started me thinking of it as I will probably have to start now ;)

The underseal will come of fairly easily, AG Bumper Care believe it or not of all products will take it off.

I have done a guide on DW to cleaning wheel arches Paul!

Thats super clean! I tend to give mine a good scrubbing down with degreaser, blast with the power washer and another wash down with the wash mitt and soap and another rinse then i spray it top to bottom with WD40.
