Wheel Bearings Easy To Do?

i got a squeeking as i drive along

think it might be time for me to do my first wheel bearing change. What kinda job am i lookin at?

wheel bearing is more a whurring while driving and getting higher in pitch as u get faster... the squiking might be some where in ur stearing rack... iirc

Did mine last weekend front and rear.


Rear discs need doing so had to do the bearings.



you will need a bearing press as it took 8 tons of preasure before mine popped out.


Other than that it was a painless job.

have narrowed it down to 2 possible things...

the sterring rack, or a sticky brake.

As i cant pinpoint exactly where the noise is coming from i cant tell yet.
