Wheel bearings

  Oyster Card
I've jacked up my front two tyres to try and find which bearing is shot, apparently if I hold the wheel at the 12 and 6'oc position I would feel some play - well I didn't.
The far as I could go to say is that the driver side one sort of clicks when i freehand the wheel forward or backwards like has a little bit of play before it starts turning everything else connected to it.

Heres the symtoms again.
Above 20 mph when I turn the wheel any amount to the left there is a deep groaning/humming noise coming from what sounds like the left hand side, the car also feels like it's vibrating when it's doing it.

Anything else a non mechanically trained eye can check for?

if its coming from the left, doesnt that answer it. just had mine changed today. could also be your wheel buckled.
