Wheel bearings

im looking to buy some wheel bearings to fit my 1.2 mk1 clio i phoned up some shop and they said i gota messure some thing ( as they have diffrent size's ) but i cant remember what they told me to messure can any one help plzzzzzzz

yeh i had exact same prob 2day there are 2 diff sizes but apparently the only way of jnowign which 1 u need 2 is 2 take off the old 1! even the enfield renault said he cudnt tell. there must b a way of finding out b4 u take it off otherwise i will have 2 buy both and brign 1 back? any1 have any ideas?
