Wheel fitments for 2002 Clio’s

Looking to get some new alloys for my 2002 Clio Dynamique. Just wondering whether anyone knows the exact wheel fitments for the car. I have heard so many different ones that I dont know what to believe anymore and figured that this was the place to come!
The decision is between Mille Miglia HT3s and OZ Super Turismos. Anyone got any favourites as to which would look better on an Odyssey Blue Dynamique?

Good luck with the TSWs...your gonna need it!!

I had a set of 16 inch blades [back in the day] three of them went ovel in 18 months through normal road use, never even kerbed them, anyway complained to a bloke at TSW and he said 18 months use was good going couldnt belive it, over a grand spent and the man didnt seem to understand why I was disappointed........moral, always buy good quality rims and avoid 40 series tyres unless your happy with 18 months road use!!!!

what are 40 series tyres andy??

i did hit a rather large sunken drain cover (5 inches +) and it didnt touch the wheel so i might be lucky but wheel see(sorry for the pun)

Think he means 40 profile !! 40 means 40% of the width of the tyre !! eg 205/40/17 !! The tyre wall size is 40 % of 205mm !!

The wheels I had on were in a size 7.5x16inch using 215/40s on a mk6 Escort.

Youve got to remember guys using 40series tyres theres only about 3inch between the wheel and the road so theyve got a lot more chance of bending them than say a 15inch with a 195/50 tyre.... that said its still no excuse for a wheel to last a piffeling 18 months.....the only advantage to fitting big rims is there looks anyway!!!

Seem to remember Audi having a problem with that quick estate thingys wheels buckling, they were useing 18s though.

Jack it up and spin the wheel round as quick as you can........if you dare to!!

clio_lass - you need summat to fill the rear wheel, the drums look sooooo small and dont really suit the open wheel design.

Good luck Dink16v........but Id flog them if I were you while you can still get something for them....like i said mine bent through normal road use never hit a cerb,never over a speed bump too fast etc etc

Spoke to Demon tweeks few month back and was told OZ had temporarily withdraw that Superleggera wheel because of reports of it buckeling as well. But thats probably been by sorted now!

what do u suggest then? some of those rather tasty fake rear discs?? lool!!

it doesnt bother me, everyone knows its a 1.2, im not going to disguise that fact, and i like my alloys. Oh and my rear drums are bigger than my bfs and hes runnin 18" oz superleggeras on a 1.6 306, yaaay!
