wheel / lowering help



  clio mk1
hi, ive got a mk1 1.2 clio with ph2 16v speedline wheels 195/50/15 an i wanted to lower it but the back wheels look like there going to rub if i do.
anyone know if thay will ?

Mines is down 60-70mm on ph 1 172 wheels and it needs spacers on the rear. 3mm only though, if you go really low the wheels rub off the top shock bolt.

Mines is a 1.4Rt

thanks, yours looks ace, i think am gona lower the back about 40mm an see wat happens be for i get any springs ect, my looks like its gona be close to the rear bumper like yours do's, think its cos the 16v has the wider arches an the 1.2 dosent. many thanks

Yeah the rear wheels are quite close to the bumper. front is quite low as well, but as said mines is on coilovers.
