Wheel refurb - BJV enginerring - Spot on

  ph1 172 Excl, Cossie
Just got my BBS's back from BJV engineering.

They are just unreal. From the corroded and kerbed mess I took in, they look as new, absolutely faultless inside and out, and for not a lot of money.

Justified me being a new set of centre caps from Renault!

Very happy indeed

I took mine wrapped in crappy tyres, and for the finish I got, they are still loads cheaper than anywhere local. 60 miles from me, but then how often do you get wheels refurbed?!

They like to refit your tryres too, so wheels arent marked by tyre monkeys! happens a lot by all accounts!

Absolutely spot on, and the finish is that good everywhere. Backs are mint as the fronts. And these had seen some kerb action! One needed a bit of welding to the face as it had a massive chunk out of it. Not that you would know now!

i took some 18 inch old style comps to them that were a horrible grey colour and a bit battered and when i collected them the finish was better than the brand new set of comps i had from the factory. one wheel when stripped had filler and jb weld to hide a crack and they welded it with no extra charge..
3 day turn around for mine too..

Adalis, they are minty clean!

I think the Mrs might alter mine for me - truly awful parking skills....

They look great. I'm contemplating getting mine done at some point, maybe with these guys, not sure yet.

How long did it take them to do?

Hi dude,

It took them 3 days but I cant get down there in the week due to work.
I dropped them off Sat, and they fitted my new tyres on them the following Sat.
Totally hassle free for the cost involved!

I was going to use Mint Alloys in Silsoe, but had heard good things about BJV years ago but believed they had closed as their website refers to 2011 pricing. Tempted to save the £80 and go for BJV

Ive tried other places before and experienced only inferior service and finish. Spit and Polish were dire. Took them 3 goes to get my Cossie cross spokes anywhere near half decent. Why even give them back to a customer knowing they could be done better?! They even knew it for a concours car!

BJV won me over when turned a manky set of revolution RFX's into showpieces! The dark grey finish is flawless and the cut rims perfect.
