Wheel Refurbishment? worth it?

My wheels are in a bad way at the moment with a few curb scars from the previous owner, so i thought about getting them refurbished? but having looked at the price of it im kinda thinking maybe il get some new wheels instead? plus one of them is badly buckled and i dont even know if you can get them put right?

has anyone had theirs refurbed?

dont bother with a buckled one, keep your eyes peeled for a mint second hand set or a single wheel for sale..

refurb's if done right are great.... a mates got a polo gti with split rims and they were a blistered mess, nearly £80 per wheel to do but there work was top draw, its the 1st time i've seen 4 refurbed wheel turn up and be mint, kerbng gone, not fisheyes, 100% perfect again..

pay all the money, a cheap jobd a shat one.. let them know you want them mint, anything less and they will be sent back again and again..
