Wheels 0z rims

  A SHED!

I wanna get some 15" super ts or superleggra for my 16v would car look stupid on 195/45/15? or would 50/195/15 be better both looks and performance? Im running 17" and Im fed up of the scaping and slow acceleration. ANYONE know of a wheel selector for the old clio?

Well there wouldnt be much of a difference to be honest. 45s will look a bit better but then the arch gap will be bigger, ride will also suffer a tad. 50s are a bit more tractorish but nicer ride!

So should I get 16" as the 205 tryes at the mo catch like hell. 16" 195? look abit beta i suppose? Its the arch fouling Im concerned about, but it would be nice to have abit better aceleration as well.;)

Well it depends..obviously i dont know how you drive your car, everyone has there preferences, most people like to balance style with pace, whereas id rather have 2 sets of wheels to fit both criteria!

How many problems did you have with 17s on, surely 16s wouldnt be a prob? The main thing which is empahised is the valvers lack of torque, most 16 inch tyres only go down to a 45 profile anyway so the 15s will be better for accleration even if you got some very fat tyres! 15s will always look bigger if you slam it..but everyone prefers 16s..hmm..basically just think about what you care about the most and then make a decision based on that? Pace, style or both?

How often do you use the car and what for most of the time? How often do you find a nice road to give it some welly or go on track?

16_er

it wil be hard to get a 15 inch rims that dont look too small for the arches, even the phase 1 and phase 2 both look too small for the car however slammed it is, however i do find the willy speedlines to look deceptively bigger than they are and a valver does look good one these

if i were to go 15 i would only go for speedlines at the mo. these are a competition wheel so will be lighter than most and do actually suit the car. get some in 15s looks wicked. i would not spend extra for 16s no point would rather stick with 17s.

but if your gonna run a smaller wheel got for the 15 and run a 195/50/15, best for grip and acc
