Wheels corroding

Alloys... only slightly in the groves at the back of the wheel...(as they always do) i cleaned them up to the best of my ability...but last night was watching wheeler dealer and Edd used some paint restorer type stuff on a car wheels which worked rather well – which got rid of a small amount of corrosion...is there a product out there other than scrubbing with autosol to get rid of light corrosion :S
