wheels reburb the paint is coming off

got my wheels refurbed at SEM 3-4 weeks ago and when i was washing my car a noticed that the paint was coning off on the inside of the spoke right near the brake ( on every wheel)

if i take them back wot do you think they will say

will they do them again cos i am realy unhappy if its coming of 3 weeks afta cnt image wot it wil look lyk in 6 months time

were they painted? or powder coated?

am not sure wot they are a didnt think either would start coming off so quick

SEM in sunderland heard loadz ov good things about them but i dont think they are that good at all

Best thing would be to take them back surely?

Worth getting it done now that going back later and them saying its too late.

Do they come with a guarantee?

If they had been powdercoated the paint would not be coming off!

If been painted then it does happen im afraid, take them back though and see what they say whats the worst they'l say.

yeah scott, get them taken back like we were saying the other day. i meant to have a look at them. as tupps said 200 nicker i'd have expected powder coating at 50 quid a pop.

Power coating isn't great! I thought from factory there painted? OZ are!

my wheels are going in to be painted on thurs got me worried now lol im only payin 150 and 50 for the car to be machine polished. standard are the wheels painted or powder coated?

Might be wrong but very much doubt a paint shop can replicate the process that OZ / Renault use if they do indeed paint them instead of powder coating.

Defo safer with powder coating on a refurb job imo.

I paid 60 notes each for my F1's to be powder coated. The finish is better than the factory new wheel i bought to go along side lol

Standard wheels are powdercoated.
Have you ever used any sort of wheel cleaner on them? i.e apart from soapy water

got my dads BMW wheels done by SEM, really rate them. Paid £249 for the full set of wheels and they were powder coated.

Just go back and see what they say

these wheels are all sorted realy rate them mate just them back no bother and they a powerd coated now and they look much better just wish they done it like this the first time realy
