IIFC by leaving it until 14k you will have invalidated your warranty as you have to get it serviced within a certain numbe of miles or time after the service is due?

Anyone care to comment?

And to answer your question, mine was £149 all in

Yep voided warranty!! you get 1k leeway :O

Could be lucky though? pretty sure they will say no thoughy as your at min 2k over,

Pete

Yup warrenty gone.

14k on the front tyres is quite impressive, think I managed about 8k max before they were illegal.

Your 100% warently is up on parts they can prove would be ok if youd taken it in for service at the normal times.

They will now only pay a % of warently bills.

Just had mine done @ 9500 miles £180 but they did sort out a lot of warranty work. 2nd set of fronts are down to 4mm and brakes are 50% worn.

When does a new dci need its first service??? I had 18k in my head but after seeing all this 12k talk i am starting to doubt my self. I thought 18k was a little on the high side in terms of break pad wear etc!!

err not unless its 4 yrs old it should only have needed one, really depends on what warrenty work it was. You may have just got lucky!

Just been quoted £205 for my 24k service, I asked them to explain why another dealer charged me £160 for the 12k service which is exactly the same, they asked if I had the receipt detailing this and I said yep, so they dropped the price.
