When some one says 'Rear right wheel' = Drivers rear ?

When someone is referring the left or right of the car am i right to assume this is from the perspective from sitting in the car ? so if someone says 'your right rear wheel has a puncture' they mean the drivers rear ??

Near or off refers to the curb. So if its the nearside, then its next to the curb. Simple.

Nearside is the side closest to the side of the road.

At Jaguar, we refer to the car as right or left, the same as right hand or left hand drive. So in UK the right is driver's or offside.
